As requested, here's my new little tuxedo dude... Loki. I do love the idea of "The Daily Loki", as was suggested, but... I think we all know that won't happen. At least not yet, and, well... smart little dude as already figured out what that camera thing I keep pointing at him is, and, well, he no likey.
I did manage to snap a couple off the other day... while the little shit was sleeping... in my bed. Seems he has taken over the big ol' bed...
and boy oh boy is he a sprawler...
he is totally in love with my down comforter. My WHITE down comforter. Gotta love a black cat rubbing all over your white comforter.
There's more pics of my Loki over on my other new blog... fondly called The Zoo... where all my little zoo kids have been posted recently. I'm pretty sure Mr. Loki here will be taking center stage almost everywhere, he does like to demand the attention.

Back to the cards
It's been weeks since I've picked up my cards, or at least however long it's been since I did that last reading that seemed so dead on it was freaky. I picked them up today, thought I'd get back to that card a day thing I was doing.
Today's card... Knave of Swords
The Page of Swords is a messenger bringing you challenges. He suggests that an opportunity for growth may come your way in the guise of a problem or dilemma. These challenges may not be your favorites. In fact, you probably will want to say "Thanks...but no thanks."
The Page of Swords asks you to embrace these difficult situations. Think of them as trials designed to test your mettle. If you accept and prevail, you will become stronger and more resilient. In meeting these challenges, you are encouraged to use the tools of the Swords suit - honest, reason, integrity and fortitude.
Sometimes the Page of Swords implies that your entire situation is one suffused with the spirit of learning, discovery, and mental activities of all kinds. At such times, use your mind and enjoy the delights of the intellect.
Yeah... the use your mind, be truthful, be just parts didn't say much too me today. Well, the use your mind part did, and I"m always truthful, and try always to be just, but... the have fortitude part... hit me square.
I have freaky cards and they're reading my journal, as well as watching me or something.
Just sayin'
Today's card... Knave of Swords

Fishie update...
Haven’t been over here in awhile. Still not sure what exactly to do with this blog, the other one has been keeping me quite busy of late. That, along with RL doesn’t leave much time for the other places. But, fishies still live here, so… fishie update belongs.
I’m sitting here watching these little fellas. Still so weird to me this fish personality thing. New little buddy has a name now, Gilligan. A friend of mine suggested it because I kept calling him little buddy and…I like it. It fits. I call him Gilly for short. So now we have Bodhie and Gilly. Heehee, that totally works.
Gilly’s much more comfortable now. Not nearly as afraid of me, and has figured out I’m the food lady. Bodhie is still spastic as hell when I come to the tank, dudes going to hurt himself from the freak out if he’s not careful. Little weirdo. They’ve gone thru their “I love you soooo much new little buddy” phase to what looked like a “big fish, little fish” feeding problem phase, to the current “stop bothering me, I don’t want to play right now Bodhie” phase. These two are funny as hell.
Bodhie is friggin’ huge, still ever the piggy. And I swear Gilly is growing like a weed too. These little buggers grow FAST! Guess that’s what happens when you don’t keep them in a bowl, and they actually live for awhile.
Today… I brought home a new fishie. He doesn’t have a name yet, of course. He’s a Raphel catfish or some such thing. Little stripped fella. I went for some kind of sucker algae fish thing, seems it may have been time for some algae containment, but I don’t like those. I got scared off of the Chinese one, or whatever they are, due to my friend’s fish aggression problem. Poor Surfer dude. I liked him. I totally didn’t want that type of thing going on, and those other ones are just downright ugly. When they told me that nasty thing could grow to 18” or whatever… ewww. No thank you, no ugly dinosaur sucker algae eating nasty fish. So we opted for a different bottom feeder kind. I’ll post his pic when I get one. He’s kinda cute, but the lady said he will hide a lot, which is fine I suppose. *shrug* we’ll see what happens.
Bodhie is totally trying to figure out what’s up with the new dude. He totally won’t let the little fella hide, keeps trying to check him out. Gilly… couldn’t care less. Seems to keep nudging Bodhie off of the distraction, time to play in the filter wash.
Fish are weird. Cute little things. I should have done this ages ago. I always have loved aquariums; just… never had cute personality plus going on. Totally trips me out.
Fishies rock. Yes, yes they do.
The end. J

Bodhie has a new friend
Finally, I got a picture. That's Bodhie, and his new friend fishie. Or... fishie 1 and fishie 2. lol, it's like the Cat in the Hat around here. Only fishies instead of Things.
Yay for Bodhie. Him was lonely. I knew he was, don't care what the lady at the pet store said. Poor Bodhie was starting to freak a bit. Got all kinds of weird the last few days. So in a fit of pissed off, I left yesterday for some retail therapy. Daughter and I ended up at the pet store at the end and got Bodhie some new plants and a buddy.
These two... are the cutest thing ever. How come I never knew fish could be cute? Total personality these little fellas.
Bodhie started getting excited as soon as I put little buddy in the tank. Wasn't even out of his bag yet, and the two of them were trying to get to each other. Wasn't sure that was good...or bad, but it was immediate. He started swimming around that bag and poking it right away. He would NOT leave the bag alone. The minute I let little buddy out, it was love.
These two are hilarious.
Bodhie won't leave little buddies side. They are pretty much joined at the hip, so to speak. They are in love. I'm sure of it. They eat together, play together, and Bodhie protects him. From me. It's friggin' adorable.
New little buddy is totally afraid of the big lady with the food. Every time I go up to the tank he spazs out and runs and hides from me, and Bodhie... guards him. Little shit. Cute as hell.
I sat up last night just watching them, couldn't sleep, too stressed I think. Came out here and watched the fishies. After they came out of hiding, I watched them play together. They surf the new filter wash. Chase each other around, and then rub up against each other in some kind of weird little fishie dance. And then do it again.
Bodhie is much less spastic now. I think he is trying to show little buddy that the big lady isn't so scary. Today he rushes to protect little buddy when I come to the tank, but he will come out and play with me after a minute or two. He comes to the glass if I touch it, and little buddy will slowly come out too. He stays back, but he does come out. He just kind of stays low and watches Bodhie fail against the glass. He's learning I think.
Cute as ever these two. Totally adorable.
Now I have to come up with a name for little buddy. Or maybe he will just be fishie now.
My little fishies rock. Yes, yes they do.
